Chapter 8 Summary


In chapter eight huck is on the island and hears a big boom. Thew boom is comming from a ferry boat trying to find his body off the bottom of the river. He then thinks of the way the would look for bodys in the water with loafs of bread. He was right and finds a loaf of bread floating down the river and he fishes it out and eats it. He finds out that there is someone else on the island and that he is someones slave, he happen to be miss watson's. He had ran off because he knew that he was going to be sold for $800. So huck and Jim live on the island togather which makes it easier on both of them. They then make a plan to go to Ill.

Chapter 5-7 Summary


After Huck is Kidnaped by his father he is taken to the cabin that is built where no one can find it. Huck's father is a drunk so he is always trying to hurt Huck. Huck is never allowed to leave the cabin because his father locks it up and wont let him leave. So one day Huck gets a clever idea and cuts a hole in the wall and covers it up with a blanket. He then sneaks out and kills a wild pig to make it look like someone robbed the house and killed Huck. Huck then floats up the river to Jackson island where he hides out.

Summary Chapters 1-4


In Chapters 1-4 The story starts out with Huck living with the widow Douglas and Miss Watson. The two ladies were trying to turn Huck into a civilalized boy. This didnt last to long because huck would always disagree with them because he was used to living on his own. His father found out where he was staying and he kidnapped him.
